Managing your data is now easier as Related Objects can now be edited through the iOS and Android apps. Continue reading to learn how it’s done.

iPhone #

There are different ways of editing a Related Object in the iPhone app. You can edit a Related Object on the Details page, and on a route’s Map or Schedule View. Using our sample data, let’s say you need to edit an Account’s Related Object.

On Details Page

1. Go to Data, search for the Account that you want to edit, and go to Related.

2. Tap on the Related Object that you need to update. In this example, let’s choose Event.

3. Select which event you want to edit, and tap Edit.

4. Edit the details that you need to update, and tap Save when you’re done.

On Route’s Schedule View

1. Access a saved route, and tap the list icon beside the route name.

2. Select which route stop you want to edit its Related Object, and go to Related.

3. Choose which Related Object that you need to update. Using our sample data, let’s choose Event.

4. Select the event you want to update, and tap Edit.

5. Update the details, and tap Save when you’re done.

On Route’s Map View Appointment Summary Card

1. Open up a saved route.

2. Tap on the route stop that you want to edit its Related Object, and tap Related.

3. Select the Related Object that you want to update. In this example, let’s select Event.

4. Choose the event you want to edit, and tap the Edit button.

5. Edit the details that you need to update, and tap Save to save the changes.

On Route Mode Live Activity Widget

1. When you’re on the Route Mode Live Widget screen, simply tap the Add Related button, and choose the Related Object that you need to update. Using our sample data, let’s choose Event.

2. Select the event you want to edit, and tap the Edit button.

3. Edit the details that you need to change, then tap Save.

Android #

There are various ways of editing a Related Object in the Android app. This can be done on the Details page, and on a route’s Map or Schedule view. Using our sample data, let’s say you need to edit an Account’s Related Object.

On Details Page

1. Go to Data, look for the Account that you want to edit, then go to Related.

2. Tap on the Related Object that you need to update. In this example, let’s choose Event.

3. Select which event you want to edit, and tap the pencil icon on the upper right corner.

4. Edit the details that you need to update, and tap Save when you’re done.

On Route’s Schedule View
