Create a Route Based on a Filter

This article is for Badger Maps Advanced. Read below for the Badger Maps Standard equivalent | Not sure which version you have?

There may be times when you need to build a route based on a specific customer base. In this article, we’ll teach how it’s done.

Let’s use our sample set up, and let’s say that you’d like to build a route with stops that are all Leads.

Read this for Badger Maps Standard

1. Filter your data and just leave the records tagged as Leads on the map.

2. Go to Tools, and choose Lasso or Radius to select your stops.

3. Assign a Route Name and Date, and click the blue Save button.

4. To keep the last Record as your route’s last stop during route optimization, hover your cursor over it, and click the lock icon. Note that this step is completely optional.

5. Click Optimize to get the most efficient route, and then hit the Save button beside it to save your route.

Read this for Badger Maps Standard

1. Filter your data so only the records tagged as Leads will be the ones visible on the map.

2. Tap the Lasso tool icon to create your route.

3. To keep the last Record as the final stop during route optimization, click on its pin, and tap Lock as last. This step is optional.

4. Though not required, it’s encouraged that you assign a Route Name and Date by tapping the pop up box on top, then click Done when you’re finished.

5. Tap the Optimize button, then the Save button to save your route.

1. Use the Filter function so only the records tagged as Leads will be the ones shown on the map.

2. Choose your stops using the Lasso tool.

3. If you want to keep the last Record as your route’s last stop, click on its pin, and tap Lock as last. Note that this step is only optional.

4. Although not required, it’s recommended that you assign a Route Name and Date to your route. Tap the pop-up box on top to do this, then click the check icon when you’re done.

5. After that, Optimize the route, then hit the Save button.
