Visualize helps make territory management simple. Its Colorize tool allows you to color code your data by Data Type (or Main Object) and by Main Object fields. Note that you can only color code one Field at a time. Continue reading to learn how it works:

Here’s what you need to do to color code your records based on the Main Object they represent.

1. Go to Visualize, then Colorize, and click Data Type under the Colorize by tab.

2. If the legend is blocking your view, you can hide it by clicking the arrow up button.

3. To turn off the Colorize tool, you can either click the Reset Colorize on the legend, click Data Type again, or click Clear at the bottom of the Visualize menu.

Now let’s say you’d like to color code your records according to the different fields of a Main Object. Using our sample setup, let’s color code the Leads based on their Status.

1. Go to Visualize, then Colorize, and click Leads under the Colorize by Fields menu.

2. Choose Lead Status from the options, and you’re all set.

3. To expand the Colorize window, hover your cursor over the expand button, then click and drag it until you see all the Colorized items.

4. Click the arrow up button if the legend is blocking your view.

5. If you want to bring back the pins to their original color, you can either click the Reset Colorize on the legend, click Lead Status again, or click Clear at the bottom of the Visualize menu.
