Aside from Colorize, the Visualize tool also has the Filter function that allows you to sort your data so you can show only the data that you want to see at a given time. You can filter your records by Data Type and by the Main Object fields.
Keep in mind that you can only filter data that is present on the map. If a Record does not have a Mapping Address (the address Field by which the Record will be mapped) or has an invalid address those won’t be included in the Filter function.

Filter by Data Type
Using our sample set up, let’s say you’d like to see just the Contacts.
1. Go to Visualize, then click Filters.
2. Under the Filter by Data Type menu, toggle off all the other Main Objects except Contacts.
3. To bring back all the other pins on the map, click Reset Filters on the legend, or the Clear button at the bottom of the Visualize menu.

Filter by Fields (Text Fields)
Using our sample set up, you’d like to find out which of the Leads has a Status of Closed – Converted.
1. Go to Visualize, and choose Filters.
2. Uncheck Accounts and Contacts, and leave Leads checked.
3. Click on Lead Status, and toggle off everything except Closed – Converted.
4. Click Reset Filters on the legend, or the Clear button at the bottom of the Visualize menu to bring back the other pins on the map.

Filter by Fields (Numeric Fields)
Using our sample set up, let’s say you wanted to see which Leads have up to 5 employees.
1. Go to Visualize and select Filters.
2. Toggle off Accounts and Contacts.
3. Then under Leads click No. Of Employees, and toggle off Show Leads without No. Of Employees.
4. Set the “to” value to 5, and hit Enter on your keyboard.
5. Click Reset Filters on the legend, or the Clear button at the bottom of the Visualize menu to get the other pins back on the map.

Filter by Fields (DateTime Fields)
In this example, let’s say you wanted to see Deals with Expected Close Date between September 15 – 30.
1. Go to Visualize and click Filters.
2. Uncheck Organizations and People, and leave Deals checked.
3. Click on Expected Close Date, and toggle off Show Deals without Expected Close Date.
4. After that, set the Start Date and End Date.
5. Click Reset Filters on the legend, or the Clear button at the bottom of the Visualize menu to get the other pins back on the map.

Advanced Filters help users quickly find the most relevant records by filtering data using custom picklist, datetime, and/or lookup fields. You can apply a single Advanced Filter or combine multiple filters to further narrow down your results.
Using our sample setup, for example, you can quickly identify which of your Leads are Buyers, and then further filter those Buyers to see which ones have a Closed – Converted status.
1. Tap the Filters button, toggle on Leads, and tap Add advanced filter.
2. Tap Lead Type, choose Buyer, then tap Add advanced filter.
3. Go to Lead Status, then tap Closed – Converted, and hit the View results button.
4. Tap Clear filters to bring back the other pins on the map.
