Badger Maps allows you to manage your data wherever you are. In this article, we’ll teach you how to add a Main Object Record using the Web, iPhone, and Android apps. Read below to learn how.
Web App #
There are two ways of creating a new Main Object Record. We have broken them down below.
Via the Data Menu
1. Go to Data.
2. Choose which data type you’d like to add a Record to. In this example, let’s say you’d like to add an Account Record. Click on the Accounts button.
3. Click +New.
4. Fill out the fields on the Create New Account pop-up box. The ones with an asterisk * are required fields.
5. Click on Create Account.

Via the Pin Drop Feature
1. Right-click on the map where you want to add the Record.
2. Select which data type you want to create a Record for. In this example, we’ll add an Account Record. So we click Create Account here.
3. Fill out the fields on the Create New Account window. Take note that the fields with an asterisk * are required to be filled out.
4. Click on Create Account and the Record will be added.

In our sample setup, let’s say you like to add a Lead.
1. To start, go to Data, tap the + button, and choose Lead.
2. Fill out the details. Note that fields with an asterisk * are required.
3. Lastly, tap on Save when you’re done.

Again using our sample setup, let’s say you like to add a Lead.
1. Go to Data, tap on the + button at the bottom left of the screen, and select Lead.
2. Fill out the details. The ones with an asterisk * are required fields.
3. Tap Save when you’re done.
