Add a Related Object Record

Managing your data is easy with the Badger Maps app. You can add specific details to your records like Related Objects. We’ll go over how to add a Related Object in this article.

1. Choose which Main Object you’d like to add a Related Object Record to. In this example, let’s choose Lead for our Main Object.

2. Select which Lead you’ll add the Related Object Record to.

3. After selecting, the Record page of that lead will open. Go to the Related tab, and click the + icon beside Events.

4. Fill out the fields in the Create New Event window. Remember that the fields with an asterisk * are required.

5. Lastly, click Create Event, and you’re done.

There are various ways of adding a Related Object in the iPhone app. You can add Related Objects on the Details page, and on a Routes’ Schedule View or Appointment Summary Card. Using our sample data, let’s say you’d like to add an Event to a Lead.

1. Go to Data, search for the Lead that you want to add an event to, and tap Related.

2. Tap Event, then the + sign at the upper right of the screen.

3. Fill out the form. The ones with an asterisk * are required to be filled out.

4. Tap on Save once you’re done.

1. Access a saved route, and tap the list icon beside the route name.

2. Select which route stop you want to add a Related Object to, and tap Related.

3. Tap Event, and then the + sign icon.

5. Tap Save when you’re done.

2. Tap on the pin that you want to add a Related Object to, and tap Related.

3. Tap on Event, then the + sign icon, and fill out the needed info in the form. Remember that the fields with an asterisk * are required.

4. Click Save, and you’re done.

On Route Mode Live Activity Widget

1. If you’re on the Route Mode Live Widget screen, simply tap the Add Related button.

2. Then tap Event, followed by the + sign icon.

3. Fill out the details on the form. The fields with an asterisk * are required to be filled out.

4. Once you’re done, tap Save, and you’re good to go.

There are different ways to add a Related Object Record using the Android app. You can add a Related Object right on the Details page, and through Route’s Schedule View or Map View Appointment Summary Card. Now using our sample data, let’s say that you want to add an Event (Related Object) to a Lead (Main Object).
